Tony Danza at Connolly Station Thursday Night

Event to kick off at 7 p.m.

Tony Danza's much-anticipated bartending stint at Connolly Station is finally upon the Village of Malverne.

According to the Connolly Station website, things will kick off at 7 p.m. and Danza will be behind the bar from 8-11 p.m. There will be a $20 cover to join the event, which will include a free drink.

The 1968 Malverne High School graduate is attempting to help raise funds for the Malverne School District's annual field trip to Frost Valley YMCA. Danza has partnered up with the Save Frost Valley Committee, a group of parents who have been dilligently fundraising to preserve the sixth-grade tradition ever since it was cut from the district's budget.
