West End Elementary PTA Holds Reflections Reception

163 students were recognized on Monday night.

 gym was turned into an art gallery Monday, as the PTA Reflections committee displayed the artwork, photography and literature pieces of all 163 if the program participants.  

The PTA Reflections Program is designed to "enhance a quality arts education by providing an opportunity for students to explore their artistic talents and receive positive recognition for their efforts," according to the PTA. 

This year's theme was "Diversity Means..." Angela Dattoma, a second grade student at West End has moved onto the New York State level judging for her Dance/Choreography entry.  She will be recognized at the Nassau Region Reflections Awards Ceremony on April 18 for her accomplishment on the Regional level.
