Nassau Community College awarded a West Hempstead resident for her dedication and contribution to students programs.
Maria Verderosa, of West Hempstead, received the NCC Student Activities Award from the Student Activities Staff.
Verderosa was recognized along with a handful of others who demonstrated exemplary dedication and participation to student activities and athletic programs. All students must maintain a 3.5 GPA and have completed at least 45 college credits.
