West Hempstead School Board Agenda: Jan. 17

A proposal to conduct a long-range demographic enrollment and facility capacity analysis is among the items the West Hempstead school board will consider at tonight's meeting.

The board will also review recommendations for faculty appointments and the possible termination of one employee, and vote on contracts related to special education, as well as other regular business matters.

A number of policies have been placed on the agenda for the meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m. in the ideoconference room, but with the suggestion that these be handled at a later meeting date.

The board is also expected to discuss social media, technology and "conflict of interest."
