West Hempstead School Board Agenda: Nov. 20

The West Hempstead school board will hold its November monthly business meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. in West Hempstead High School.
The board will be voting on an amendment to the 2012-13 school calendar, and tax exemptions for residents age 65 or older, and those with disabilities or limited income.
Also on the agenda is an agreement with the American Red Cross and a docket pertaining to "Emergency Storm Days."

The board is also expected to vote on a Memorandum of Agreement with the West Hempstead teachers' union regarding the new Annual Professional Performance Review plan.
As always, there will be a period for district residents to comment.
