West Hempstead Teacher Nominated in KJOY Contest

Jennifer Kaden has been nominated in KJOY's "Teacher of the Month" contest for April.

Jennifer Kaden, who teaches eighth grade special education at Eagle Avenue Boces in West Hempstead, has been nominated for the KJOY Teacher of the Month contest for April.

She is up against teachers from East Meadow, North Bellmore, Massapequa, Syosset and Westbury.

One of these finalists for this month's "Teacher Of The Month" will be rewarded for their excellence. The teacher who receives the most votes by the end of the month will win $250 cash and $250 worth of Pilot Pens, courtesy of Learning RX.

Let's hear it for the teachers of West Hempstead (even though BOCES isn't part of the WH school district)! We have many, many deserving teachers who work in our community and it is great when even one is recognized. Want to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem?
