I was tempted to just ask these questions as my entire blog and just wait and hope that people will comment with thoughts, but I suspect a few of you clicked this looking for answers, not just questions!

Okay, fine...let me do some quick research for you, but please jump in with comments letting me, as well as your neighbors reading this, know what amount you usually give to Trick-or-Treaters!

Okay, I did my research. It looks like A LOT of people give out two pieces of candy/chocolate to Trick-or-Treaters, a fair-sized percentage would up that amount to three pieces, and a very small percentage give four or more. (No one said just one piece unless it was a larger bar of chocolate.)
I'm leaning toward three but inclined to think two would be fine. But as my local Malverne/West Hempstead (or surrounding area) readers, YOUR opinion matters to me.
