All eyes will be watching Thursday's noon World Cup matchup, when the U.S. takes on Germany. We've provided a roundup of some of the best spots in town to watch the game. And just a heads up: if you're watching the game at a local sports bar, you might want to sneak out for lunch a little early, as places might reach max capacity before game time.

Here are just some of our top picks:

Minnesota's, Long Beach

This seaside staple will get the party started at 11 a.m. Thursday as they project the game on the big screen and offer domestic beer deals in honor of Team USA.

Parlay Gastropub, Rockville Centre

New to RVC's bar scene, Parlay has plenty of televisions for World Cup watching. You may even get to experience the 2014 World Cup city yourself as they are hosting a giveaway for a trip for two to Rio de Janiero, Brazil.

Monaghan's Irish Restaurant, Rockville Centre

"As you can see with all 32 world cup teams flags hanging from our roof, we take the cup seriously," they wrote on Facebook. The Irish bar is offering drink deals and more on game days.

REVEL Restaurant & Bar, Garden City

REVEL is celebrating the 2014 FIFA World Cup from beginning to end. Far bites menu and cocktail list will be available for 15-percent off during games; all being shown on the 10-foot screen behind the bar. Mixologist, Jessica Liberto, will be crafting specialty cocktails representing the playing teams for $5 each.

Buffalo Wild Wings, Westbury and Hicksville

With television screens everywhere you turn and plenty of beer and wings available, Buffalo Wild Wings is a sure thing for World Cup viewing. For those who live a little further north, head to their Westbury or Hicksville locations for the game.

Plattduetsche Park Biergarten on Hempstead Tpke in Franklin Square. They have 8 Big Screen TVs and a 16' x 9' projection screen. Why would you watch a Germany / USA Game anywhere else than a GREAT German Biergarten with a huge selection of beer and GREAT Food?

@Christie, so how do you explain that the USA game against Portugal drew higher ratings than the Baseball World Series & the NBA Finals?
