The local community will come together Friday night for Malverne's 2nd annual Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
As they walk around s beautiful new track, family and friends will remember their loved ones who lose their battle with cancer, celebrate the survivors and raise money to fight back and find a cure.

Survivors are invited to a special dinner provided by the local merchants inside Malverne High School at 5:30 p.m. and then the walk will begin at 7 p.m. with a special lap for survivors and caregivers.
There are several ways you can participate. You can sign-up to walk as an individual or team, make a donation, or purchase a luminaria in honor of someone you love who has fought cancer. Click here to learn more.
