Photos: Lawrence Football Shuts Out Lynbrook, 36-0

Rematch of last year's county championship game ends badly for the Owls Saturday.

Lawrence had no problem beating Lynbrook Saturday in a conference III battle and re-match of last years county finals match-up. The Tornadoes shutout the Owls at Lawrences' homecoming, 36-0.

Tyler Fredericks carried the ball 17 times for 160 yards and a touchdown for Lawrence, while Ryan Fredericks chipped in with 51 yards and two touchdowns.

With the win, Lawrence moves to 6-1, good for second place behind undefeated Bethpage (7-0). Lynbrook drops to 5-2 heading to the season finale , while Lawrence finishes out the regular season at Sewanhaka.
