The Seaford High School girls volleyball team (12-2) won three out of four games against Lynbrook Thursday at SUNY Old Westbury (11-5) to win the Nassau County Class B Championship.
After Seaford took the first game 25-11, Lynbrook responded with a 25-19 win. Seaford rebounded nicely, though, with consecutive 25-21 an 25-18 wins to capture the crown.
Prior to defeating Lynbrook, Seaford topped Locust Valley (25-17, 25-20, 25-22) and Island Trees (25-15, 25-21, 25-15). Before Thursday's loss, Lynbrook beat Clarke (25-23, 25-7, 25-20) and Mineola (22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 17-25, 25-20).
