National Running Day: Share Your Favorite Local Route

Where do you run in Malverne-West Hempstead?

It's National Running Day!

Ofcourse, the obvious way to celebrate is to lace up your sneakers and hit the pavement, trail or the treadmill to log some miles. At Patch, we know that running isn't just great exercise. It's also a way to carve out some "me" time or bond with running buddies, release stress, and explore and enjoy your local community.

Some of my favorite places to run in Malverne-West Hempstead are through in Westwood, past , around and on various trails in in West Hempstead. (The photo above was taken during a recent run around the scenic park.)

You can also view some of my go-to local routes here and others created by runners like yourself via MapMyRun.com.
