West Hempstead Football Rushes for 561 Yards in Blowout Victory

The West Hempstead Rams football team ran all over North Shore on Saturday, compiling 561 rushing yards in a 56-19 victory. 

The Rams were led by Bruce Gibbs, who rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns, and Enrique McFarlane, who added 158 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

On defense, Akil Philip and Lional Williams each had an interception, while linebacker Vinny Messina recorded seven tackles.

The Rams finish the regular season 6-2 in Conference IV, tied for second place with Seaford (6-2) and trailing first place Roosevelt (8-0).
