7 Garage and Tag Sales Happening This Weekend

Garage and tag sale season is in full swing right now. Here's a look at seven happening in the neighborhood and surrounding area this Saturday and Sunday.

102 Southern Dr., Franklin Square

This garage sale is taking place on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a lot of good items to choose from including brand-new and gently-used furniture, household accessories, child and adult clothing, shoes and much more.

573 Junard Blvd., West Hempstead

This huge garage sale will take place on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be tons of items for sale including backyard toys, kitchen play sets, toddler bikes and baby items like bath tubs and car seats. Other items are pocketbooks and handbags, mens ties, kids toys and games, and other knick-nacks.

157 Goldenrod Ave., Franklin Square

This will be a huge multi family garage sale that will take pace on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tons of items on sale like furniture, jewelry and jewelry boxes, collectibles, a 50's Grundig-Majestic stereo console radio, antiques, sports memorabilia, luggage, tools, postcard, stamp collection and coin collections, clothes, shoes and handbags. Over 200 Beanie Babies will be on sale too.

227 Scranton Ave., Lynbrook

This will be a huge multi-family sale taking place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A lot of stuff for sale like TVs, a TV stands, bar stools, small furniture, glasswear, quilts, housewares, china, speakers, bric-a-brac, toys, tools, four infant car seats, Pack-n-Play, Little Tikes picnic bench and wagon, and other kids stuff.

369 Ocean Ave,

The Mothers of Malverne Community Yard Sale will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 20 families will be participating in this sale, which will include tons of children's clothes, shoes, toys, games, books, bikes, a wagon, Pack-n-Plays, strollers, Peg Perego highchairs, baby swings, training tables, a changing table, garden items, household goods, home décor, kitchen items, furniture and fine china. Professional vendors will also be on hand including from Pampered Chef, Lia Sophia and Stella & Dot.

35 Harris Ave, Malverne (next to

This huge multi-family yard sale taking place on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be plenty of items for sale including furniture, camera equipment, tools, baseball cards, mint condition records, knick nacks, kid's books, paperback books, electronics, eletronic accessories, cables, collectibles, antiques, glassware, dishes, a bed, a dining room table with six chairs, rugs, lounge chairs, photo studio lighting setups, Polaroids, a glass flat panel entertainment center, bedding and Zippos.

104 Horton Rd, Valley Stream

This garage sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m on both Saturday and Sunday. This seller is selling most of the contents of their prior home after a recent relocation. Items include furniture, home goods, all kitchen goods, home decorations, queenbed with mattress, barbeque, dining room set, framed prints, and much more. Everything must go.
