7 Garage and Tag Sales Happening This Weekend

Garage and tag sale season is in full swing right now. Here's a look at seven happening in the neighborhood and surrounding areas this Saturday and Sunday.

369 Ocean Ave,  Malverne (Mother's of Malverne Annual Yard Sale)

The Mother's of Malverne Yard Sale will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the  More than 20 families are participating in this huge annual garage sale. Tons of children's clothes and shoes, toys and games, books, bikes, a wagon, pack-n-plays, strollers, Peg Perego highchairs, a baby swing, training table, and a changing table will be up for sale. Also, there will be garden items, household goods, home décor, kitchen items, furniture and fine china. Professional vendors will also be on hand.

61 Fritchie Pl., Valley Stream (off Central Avenue)

This garage sale will take place on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. It's a multifamily/moving sale and everything must go including antiques, collectibles, furniture, bric a brac, houseware, vintage jewelry, books, albums, clothing and much.

248 Travis Ave., Franklin Square

This garage sale will take place on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. There will be plenty of items on sale including new and used baby items such as baby boy's clothes (0-18 months), shoes, baby toys, a crib and changing table, crib bedding, bath tub, jumper and walker. New and used women's items will include name-brand clothing, handbags, sunglasses and shoes, costume jewelry, beauty supplies and beauty tools like curling irons and straightening irons.

17 Hart St., Lynbrook

This multi-family garage sale will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be many items and collectibles up for sale and everything must go.

250 Madison St., Franklin Square 

This garage sale is taking place on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. All kinds of items will be for sale including toys, games, books, DVDs, yard tools, hand tools, decorations, home decor, kitchen appliances, and luggage. The location is two blocks around from the Rath Park pool.

140 Roosevelt Ave, Valley Stream

This large garage sale will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Many items will be on sale including women's clothes (some are brand name,) shoes(womens sizes 7,8,9,10), handbags, costume jewelry, belts/accessories, curtains, towels, mens clothes, coats, shoes, furniture, and toys.

3535 Lawson Blvd., Oceanside

This "Father's Day Blowout" on Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., will include a 14' box trailer mint-wired for electrical, 1995 Chevy van, antiques, mid-century and retro furniture, an end table, lamps, chandeliers, fine art, fishing gear, tools, mirrors, rugs, bronzes, Elvis merchandise, clocks, outdoor sets, bedroom sets, electronics, living room sets, lamps chairs, vintage and antique toys, dish sets, stemware, collectibles.
