Even with this week's rainy weather, our field staff and volunteers were able to get plenty done!

Sweet potatoes were planted in the fields. Like potatoes, they start from slips, which are the small shoots sent out by a mature potato. You may have encountered potato slips after leaving one out on the counter too long!

The first harvest of Crossroads Farm spinach took place this week, and can be found in the farm stand.

Tomato staking is set to begin tomorrow morning. Staking tomato plants provides them with extra support to grow vertically.

The last of the season's snap peas are being harvested - be sure to grab a bag from the fridge this weekend before they're all gone!
