Kraft has recalled 96,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer hot dogs, CNN reported.

The Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners might contain cheese, even though the packaging does not indicate that.

"The product labels are incorrect, as they do not reflect the ingredients associated with the pasteurized cheese in the cheese dogs," the U.S. Department of Agriculture stated.

The products subject to the recall are:

  • 16 oz. packages –individual consumer packages– of “Classic Wieners Made with Turkey & Chicken, Pork Added” with “USE BY 16 Jun 2014” date and product code “044700000632”
  • Cases of 16 oz. packages –distributed to retailers– of “Classic Cheese Dogs Made with Turkey & Chicken, Pork Added, and Pasteurized Cheese Product” with “USE BY 16 Jun 2014” date and case code “00447000005300”
The hot dogs were made on March 2 and March 3 and have the number "Est. 537H" inside of the USDA mark of inspection.

Consumers with questions about the recall should contact Kraft Consumer Relations at (855) 688-4386.

Any-one who grows up in America probably has some foreign substance in them from eating hotdogs.

I don't think were doing starving people any favors by sending them hot dogs that might make them sick.

Poland has already outlawed kosher killing as inhumane--it involves voiding the arteries of the animal's tainted blood while it is still alive....The US will soon follow despite its Jewish lobby.
