Three LHS Lacrosse Players Sign National Letters of Intent
The Lynbrook seniors will all play lacrosse in college.
Lynbrook High School seniors Anthony Rainone, Luke Spitzer and Kacey Carter recently signed National Letters of Intent to play college lacrosse.
Rainone, who will be attending Adelphi University, was an All-Conference and All-County Honorable Mention player. In the 2011 season he scored 26 goals and added 14 assists. Rainone also played football for the Owls, is a member of Athletes Creating Excellence and is a volunteer coach.
Spitzer, who will also be attending Adelphi, is a three-year varsity player who was named an All-Academic All-Conference player in 2010 and an All-Academic All-County player in 2011. In the 2011 season he scored 30 goals and 22 assists. Spitzer also plays football and is a member of Athletes Creating Excellence and the National Honor Society.

Carter will be attending Marist College. She was named a 2011 All-Conference player, with 35 goals and 16 assists. A scholar-athlete, Carter is vice president of the senior class, treasurer of the Leadership and Key Club, managing editor of Horizon, the Lynbrook High School newspaper, and a member of Athletes Creating Excellence.
