VIDEO: A Benefit for Nicholas at Greis Park
Valley Stream cancer survivor is honored during Nassau Pops concert at Lynbrook Recreation Center.
On Friday, July 8, a fundraising concert was held by the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra at Gries Park in Lynbrook to benefit a young Valley Stream cancer victim named Nicholas Lakharam.
Rain prevented the "A Night Under the Stars" from living up to it's name, but the event was moved indoors and, due to the overwhelming support of the community, was nonetheless a huge success.
