West Hempstead Civic Hosts Joy-Filled Kids Party [PHOTOS]
Many youngsters in West Hempstead celebrated the holiday season with games, cookie-decorating and visits from some special guests.
The spirit of the holiday season was alive in the wide-eyed faces of the children who attended the West Hempstead Community Support Association's annual party Sunday.
They lit up when they saw Mickey and Minnie enter the cafeteria at the West Hempstead Middle School, which had been set up as a carnival with games, clowns, a juggler and other activities. And their expressions were even more adorable as they hopped up on Santa's lap, whispered their Christmas wishes in his ear and then thanked him for their goodie bags.
The youngsters also enjoyed hours of dancing, cookie-decorating, face-painting and other fun. (We bet there were some long naps afterward.) Check out the photos from this year's kids party in the gallery above.
