Actor Portrays Lincoln at WH Library, Halloween Events and Malverne Cleanup

Lincoln at the West Hempstead Library: "In this interactive dramatic program celebrating the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg and the Gettysburg Address, actor-storyteller Lou Del Bianco portrays Abraham Lincoln." The event takes place Monday, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

Halloween Havoc in Lynbrook: The annual Halloween costume parade takes place on Sunday, Oct. 27, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Parade line-up is at 11:30 a.m. in the Earle Ave. Parking Field at St. James Place). Magician from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Prizes, bounce house, balloons, DJ, popcorn, trick or treats, pumpkin decorating and more!

Zumba Halloween Bash: The Lynbrook Recreation department holds this event on Monday, Oct. 28, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. "Come in costume and Zumba for free!" 

Malverne's Safe Clean-Up: Malverne Civic's "Safe Clean-up Day" E-cycle for electronics, secure document shredding, along with the Malverne Police Department who will collect firearms, ammo and drugs for safe disposal.  Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.at the Malverne LIRR station parking lot, Utterby Rd, Malverne.

Lynbrook Electrify Your Strings Concert: On Saturday, Nov. 2, the Lynbrook HS Orchestra holds the "Electrify Your Strings Concert" with Mark Wood, starting at 7 p.m. at the high school.
