First Day of School

Wine Tasting Event
Reminder: The Malverne Civic Association will be holding “A Night Under The Stars Annual Wine Tasting” on Friday, October 4. More details, including how to purchase tickets can be found here.
Update on Lynbrook Turf Field
The 2012-13 Lynbrook school budget of $74.468 million included the installation of a turf field at Marion Street School, a proposition vote which was approved by a 887-721 margin. The turf field, which began construction this summer, is nearing completion. Stay with Patch for the story.

Board of Education Meetings
Lynbrook will hold a BOE meeting on Monday, September 9. Malverne's next meeting will beheld on Tuesday, September 10, while West Hempstead's next meeting is on Tuesday, September 17.Local Author Releases New Children’s Book
