‘How to Challenge Your Tax Assessment’ Forum at WH Library, Lynbrook BOE Meeting

Here's a look at what's going on this week in Malverne, West Hempstead and Lynbrook.

- Start off the New Year right at Studio Z Fitness, which holds Zumba on Monday night at 7:15 p.m. The gym is located at 290 Broadway in Lynbrook, inside Kids Campus. 

- The West Hempstead Library hosts Donald Clavin, Town Receiver of Taxes, on  Thursday at 2 p.m. Clavin will  speak and inform taxpayers on "How to Challenge Your Assessments". Residents may file a challenge from January 2, 2014 through March 1, 2014. 

- The WH Library also hosts a free Tribute to Elvis concert on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. “If you love Elvis, then Don Anthony will make you feel like you’re watching the king live!”

- The Lynbrook Board of Education holds a meeting on Monday, 7:30 p.m. in the High School cafeteria.

- Head to the Malverne Library on Monday at 2 p.m. for the Monday Matinee Movie, “Last Love” (115 mins.) (2013) Starring Michael Caine, Clemence Poesy, Jane Alexander, Justin Kirk. English Subtitles.”
