Lynbrook Village Meeting, Winter Gala and Movies at the Library

Here's a look at what's going on this week in Malverne, West Hempstead and Lynbrook.

- The Village of Lynbrook holds a meeting of the board of trustees on Monday, 8 p.m. at Village Hall, located at 1 Columbus Drive. Stay with Patch for a look at the agenda and for coverage of the meeting. 

- The Lynbrook Library holds “Movies at the Library” on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.. Movies are shown in the community room, are free and intended for an adult audience only. 

- Looking for work? Check back Tuesday for a list of some local job opportunities. 

- Did you see the top stories of last week? A man was struck by a vehicle in Lynbrook and police are still trying to catch the man who allegedly stole a dog from Shake-A-Paw in September.

- Reminder: The Lynbrook School District holds a Winter Gala: Festival of the Arts on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 7:30 p.m. at the high school.
