Tree Lighting Ceremonies, Breakfast With Santa and Malverne Village Meeting

Holiday season is in full swing in Malverne, West Hempstead and Lynbrook.

Malverne Lighting of the Menorah: The lighting will take place Monday, Dec. 2, 5:30 p.m. at the Malverne LIRR station.

National Wholesale Liquidators First Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony: Join the store on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 12:00PM. "Children attending receive a free photo taken with Santa, free coloring books and candy canes. Santa will be in attendance and from 12:00-3:00PM children who attend will receive a free 5x7 photo with Santa." National Wholesale Liquidators is located at 111 Hempstead Tpke. 

Lynbrook Breakfast With Santa: In the Village of Lynbrook, breakfast with Santa will be held this Saturday at the Knights of Columbus in the recreation center at 78 Hempstead Ave.

New Malverne Village Hours: Please take note that effective Monday, Dec. 30, new Village Hall hours will take effect - Monday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Malverne Village Board Meeting: The village of Malverne meets on Wednesday Dec. 4, 7:30 p.m. for a meeting at Village Hall, 99 Church St. 

Malverne Historical Society Annual Holiday Gala: Friday, Dec. 6, 7:00 p.m. Food, entertainment, 50/50 raffle. Please considering bringing a new, unwrapped toy for our Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" effort. For Tickets:  Rosalie (516) 599-1028, Robert, (516) 792-1910 Email:  RJPinMalverne@aol.com.

Our Lady of Lourdes Holiday Shopping Boutique: Sunday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at OLLS School Hall - 76 Park Blvd, Malverne. Free admission, baked goods for sale. The Annual Lighting of Malverne: Saturday, Dec. 7. Music: James A. Deaver Ensemble at 4 p.m., Bridge Church Plaza. Opening ceremony with a welcoming and 50/50 raffle to begin at 4:30 p.m. at Bridge Church Plaza. Elf parade at 5 p.m. at Francis Street to the Fountain. 

Lighting of Malverne at 5:15 p.m. at the train station area. Blessing of the Creche at 5:30 p.m.Live nativity and choir at 7 p.m. at the Church of Intercessor on St. Thomas Place. Full details can be found at the Village website.
