Since 1962, the Malverne branch of the United States Postal Service has been in the center of the village. The post office sells stamps and packaging, ships packages and delivers mail. It also rents post office boxes. The office does passport services by appointment. Every spring, its letter carriers conduct a food drive throughout the community.
