The kids learn the sport of football but also so much more.</p> <p>The Wildcats mission is to be an instructional football organization, dedicated to youth development in a shared responsibility within the neighboring communities.</p> <p>The organization strives to provide a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, sportsmanship, honor, integrity, service, respect, self perseverance, and confidence. The goal is to build successful and responsible young men who add value to their community both on and off the field.</p> <p>The program is affiliated with USA Football and is sustained by the efforts of volunteers. It even supplies all the safety equipment the players need.</p> <p>In addition to football, the Wildcats also runs a youth cheerleading program for ages 6-16 and a track club.</p>

The West Hempstead Broncos is a youth football club. The Broncos operates as an instructional football organization and…More focuses on the development and education of youth in the community. Athletes with the Broncos learn how to play football and also are taught about team work, respect, confidence integrity, and sportsmanship. The league has an eight-game regular season and usually holds four practices during the week. The organization provides kids with the football and safety equipment needed and also offers cheerleading registration. Each year, about 900 students fill the halls of the school building. Students can participate in advanced placement courses and various clubs, sport teams and extracurricular activities. Professional football player and College Football Hall of Famer Donald McPherson attended West Hempstead High School, where he was a two-sport All-American Athlete in football and track.
