Raised in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia, I attended public school in Chesterfield County and was later accepted at Virginia Commonwealth University in the city of Richmond as an engineering undergrad. After several major changes I finally chose a career path in print journalism. I have written and edited for both newspapers and magazines, and today I am still pursuing my passion for writing and reporting. I love going to baseball games in the summer, and I do the hockey and basketball thing in the off-season. My father's side of the family is originally from the Bronx, therefore I was consequently raised a Yankees and New York sports fan from day one.
As far as music goes, I love Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan and I see them in concert as much as possible. I'm into all kinds of new music as well; everything from MGMT and Band of Horses to Chromeo and Julian Casablancas.
I really look forward to getting involved in the community and working with Stephen Bronner and the team at Five Towns Patch.
