Hello and thanks for checking out my profile!
I'm a 27 year old Patchogue resident and economics major and I found my way to Patch like most of you because of it's awesome local content. I am passionate about politics and economics and believe that many arguments we have today could be solved if we all had a better understanding of some basic economic concepts.  Everyday many policies are made and enacted by government both federal and local which only cause harm to those who are supposed to benefit.   I like to write about them and let you know what I think and see wrong.  Locally I do so here on Patch and on the national level I try to keep up to date my site, Separate the State. On a lighter note I also like to encourage my friends, community members, family, and those I come into contact with to enjoy the best of what life has to offer us.  Life is too short to be dismal and too exciting to be dismayed;  It's up to us to grab onto the things we can affect and enjoy the ride. That is the purpose for my main blog, Three Cent Advice, where I try to update every morning by around 5:00am so that you could start the day with a positive and uplifting note while having the morning joe.   I try to keep posts short, sweet, and to the point yet leaving you with something you can reflect on and apply in all different manners.  Regardless of many of our differences in opinions, tastes, and preferences we have more in common than we often give credit to.  So let's not push each other down in this race called life but rather enjoy the view on the way. Let's not sweat the small stuff.
