I am a mom of 4 children - Jake (8), Ava (6), Luke (5) and James (3). I was born and raised in Malverne and my husband, Rob, and I are now raising our family here.
I am a runner, a reader and a former PR/Event Planner who chose to stay-at-home while my children are young.
I attended Fordham University - go Rams! - where I received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
I decided to change my career in 2003 and have my Masters degree in Elementary Education from Hofstra University. I plan to return to work once my children are in school full-time.
In the meantime, I keep busy with various volunteer activities at St. Thomas the Apostle where I have been a parishioner for 8 years.
For the parish, I am currently a member of our pastoral council; our dinner dance chair for 2009, 2010, and 2011; founder and coordinator of our MOST support group (Mothers of St. Thomas); and founder and coordinator of our Helping Hands cooking ministry. I also serve as an Eucharistic Minister at our chapel location.
I serve our STA school as our school board secretary and class mom for our Pre-K class.
I love writing, technology and forming connections in the community I live in!
