I was born in Oak Lawn and live in Chicago Ridge. 
I love to play golf and softball, and just recently started running. It's been a little painful on the knees, but I'm really enjoying it. The White Sox are my favorite sports team followed closely by the Blackhawks, Bears and Bulls. I decided to pursue journalism at Moraine Valley Community College, and began writing for their campus newspaper, The Glacier, in 2004. I continued writing at Governors State University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in communications in 2008. I've been covering the Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace beats for the Doings Newspaper since 2009.
