Car Lands on Lawn After Leaving Road in West Hempstead
No injuries reported in Wednesday car accident.

A car, headed southbound on Woodfield Road in West Hempstead, left the roadway early Wednesday morning and landed up on the front lawn of a nearby home.
The driver may have been distracted when he failed to navigate a bend in the road and drove over the sidewalk, struck a couple of trash cans and came to a stop just short of the front door of the home.
No one was injured and police were conducting an investigation into the accident.
