NEARBY: Police Searching for Pocketbook Thief in RVC

A wallet, cash and credit cards were stolen, and nobody was injured during the theft, cops said.

Cops are looking for the man who stole a woman's pocketbook from her Tuesday night while she was in front of her Lehigh Court home.

According to police, at 11:15 p.m., the 77-year-old victim was approached by the suspect while she was sitting in her car in front of her home. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. He ripped her pocketbook from her arms before fleeing northbound on Lehigh Court, police said. 

The victim saw the suspect enter a white or silver passenger vehicle which fled west on Beverly Road. The stolen proceeds included a wallet, cash and credit cards. No injuries were reported.
