Lynbrook High School’s Luke Germanakos Runs Third Fastest Time in Country in 600 m

Competing at the 2014 New Balance Games at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City on Jan. 25, Lynbrook High School junior Luke Germanakos (center) placed second in the 600-meter race. Luke’s time of 1:20.60 was the third fastest in the country, beating the defending state champion Matt Murray of Norwich, N.Y. by 1.40 seconds.
