Lynbrook Teams Win 7 Awards at LI Kickline Championship

Lynbrook Lady Owls kickline teams won awards in seven divisions of the Long Island Kickline Invitational Championship at Uniondale High School on Feb. 9. The Lynbrook middle school team, under the direction of coaches Stacy Benson and Danielle Goodwin, took first place in the kickline and pom divisions. The JV team, under the guidance of coach Ashley Kornblum, finished first in the kickline division and second in the pom division. The varsity team, who won last year’s champions in the kickline division, took home second-place awards in the hip-hop, kickline and pom divisions. They worked under the direction of coach Robin Manza. Fifteen local middle and high schools competed in 14 different divisions.
