Per Sempre Lodges & Santino Celebrate Italian Heritage Night

Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino joined Order Sons of Italy in America Per Sempre Lodge #2344 and Per Sempre Ladies Lodge #2344A for the organization’s Italian Heritage Night Lynbrook’s Greis Park.  Lynbrook Mayor Bill Hendrick and East Rockaway Mayor Fran Lenahan joined the celebration as well as members of each incorporated villages’ board.

Order Sons of Italy in America is the largest and oldest Italian-American fraternal organization in the nation.  Each year, Italian Heritage night is held to coincide with the October celebration of Columbus Day, as Christopher Columbus – in addition to many other explorers of Italian descent – contributed to the America’s culture and heritage.
