Nov. 20: School Boards, Musical Review, Crime Blotter and More

A look at the top stories for this Tuesday in Malverne, West Hempstead and Lynbrook.

Here are the top five headlines for Nov. 20.

  1. Lynbrook School Board: The Lynbrook Board of Education will hold its monthly business meeting tonight at the high school. The board will meet at 7 p.m. but may go into executive session. It expects the public session to resume at 8 p.m. Find out what's on the agenda later this morning.
  2. West Hempstead School Board: The West Hempstead Board of Education will also hold its monthly business meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. Look for the agenda later today.
  3. Musical Review: Check out photos and a review of Lynbrook High School's production of "Into the Woods" later today.
  4. Facilities Use: The Malverne school board once again delayed discussing a revised policy regarding the use of its facilities by outside groups. The request to table the policy reading was a source of contention at last Tuesday's meeting. Click here for the story.
