  1. Community Meeting: The West Hempstead Community Support Association will be holding a community meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight in West Hempstead Middle School. Representatives for Nassau County's Parks Department will be there to discuss plans for Halls Pond Park. WHCSA will also be awarding Lakeview Fire Chief Heather Senti as Person of the Year and showcasing plans for the 9/11 memorial at Halls.
