Photos: Lynbrook Centennial Mural Unveiled at Greis Park

Lynbrook resident artists, teachers and army veterans were honored Sunday at the ceremony.

The Lynbrook centennial mural, which celebrates 100 years of Lynbrook, was unveiled Sunday at to a large crowd.

Lynbrook Mayor former mayor and current assemblyman and Lynbrook Superintendent of Parks Pat McDermott welcomed residents of the town as they unveiled the mural and thanked students and teachers for their hard work.

Lynbrook art teacher Joan Lazarus and 40 Lynbrook students helped create the mural. Artist Carol Ann Pagano's painting honoring our war veterans was also unveiled.
