St. Thomas Serving Thanksgiving Dinner for Community Members

Parish families and local businesses donate food for second annual feast, open to all.

Not up for cooking a lavish turkey dinner or traveling to a relative's house for the Thanksgiving? Then, spend the holiday with St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in West Hempstead, which will be serving a feast, open to all community members.

From noon to 2 p.m. on Nov. 22, volunteers will be serving a full Thanksgiving meal, donated by parish families and local businesses, in the auditorium of St. Thomas the Apostle School, located at 12 Westminster Rd. The party, which will also feature music, fun and fellowship, will go until 3 p.m.

This is the second consecutive year that the parish has hosted a complimentary Thanksgiving Dinner for local families.
