The "Lighting of Malverne" made a big comeback on Dec. 4, after severe weather forced the village to cancel the holiday tradition for the first time last year. The entire village - its leaders, volunteers, businesses, fire, police and ambulance forces and ofcourse, residents - turned out to make the night a success.
