Patch photographer and reporter Dave Paone will give a slide show/lecture to accompany his autobiography, "Mickey Rooney Was Right," for the Valley Stream Historical Society.
He will read excerpts from the book and tell stories while showing photographs from his 20 years in the motion picture industry.
Photographs include pictures taken on the set of "Law & Order" and other professional shoots.
The Valley Stream Historical Society uses the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church hall at Brooklyn Avenue and 7th Street in Valley Stream.
Slide show follows monthly membership meeting. Free and refreshments will be served.
