Courageous Cats, a feline rescue group based in Malverne, is holding a fundraiser on April 29 from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. in Malverne at the located at 369 Ocean Ave.
In addition to showcasing some of their adoptable cats, another local organization, Fur Babies, will also bring some of their adoptable dogs.
The event wll also feature vendors, including hand-crafted jewelry, baked goods and Girl Scout cookies, a silent auction, live petting zoo, dog training, microchipping, paw-printing and a blessing of the animals. You can also have your pet's photo taken by a professional, ask questions to a local vet and more.
