The West Hemsptead Community Support and Civic Association will be holding a holiday party for all children in West Hempstead, ages 3 to 11 years old. The party will be held from 2pm-4:30pm in the cafeteria of the West Hempstead Middle School, where there will be loads of holiday enterainment. There will be a dj, a juggler, costumed characters and Santa Claus, who will be stopping by for a visit around 3:30pm. Kids can also participate in games and decorate ornaments and cookies (including Kosher cookies). Every child will also get a goodie bag. The civic association is able to host this event throught the membership dues it receives from the community. It also gets support from the local Astoria Federal Savings Bank, which is a sponsor, Riesterer's Bakery, which supplies gingerbread cookies, and the Lakeview Fire Department, who is able to track down Santa to make this stop during his busiest time of the year!
