"Our team got off to a strong start in the beginning of the game and we cruised from there," said Connolly Station coach Gerry Henshaw. "Our pitching was superb and overall it was a great team effort."

Team Henshaw got five runs in the top of the first inning off of their first five batters - John Devino, Mike Winslow, Brendan O'Hara, Frank Genti and Rob Coleman.

Top Shelf was able to load the bases in the top of the sixth but Genti kept his poise and was able to strike the final batter out to seal the victory.

Both teams congratulated one another on their successful seasons and then Henshaw's players proudly posed with their championship trophy.
