Curran and Santino to Host Second Annual Jobs Fair

More than 75 businesses and colleges will be in attendance.

Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st AD) and Senior Councilman Anthony Santino will be hosting a jobs fair and resume drafting seminar at Molloy College from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday, June 21.

While the Jobs Fair is geared towards young adult job-seekers, all are welcome.

“The young adults in our community are entering the work force at a time when jobs are scarce. Councilman Santino and I are proud to partner together and bring another jobs fair to Molloy College,” Curran said.

More than 75 businesses and colleges will be in attendance, including the United States Postal Service, the Long Island Rail Road, Robert Half International, Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Cablevision, Winthrop University Hospital, Veolia Transportation, Verizon, New York Community Bank, TD Bank and many more.

" I'm glad that I was able to spearhead this project with Assemblyman Curran to bring job-seekers and employers together in one place locally," said Santino. "I know there are many many qualified candidates and look forward to hearing success stories from this Jobs Fair soon after it happens."

Molloy College is located at 1000 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre. For more information about the upcoming jobs fair or any other local or state issue, please call Assemblyman Brian Curran’s district office at 516-561-8216.
