Local 7-Eleven stores are celebrating July 11, 2011 - the chain's 84th birthday by giving away free Slurpees to its customers.
Stop by any store (West Hempstead has .) Monday before midnight to score your free frosty beverage. Each customer will receive a 7.11-ounce Slurpee at no cost while supplies last.
A total of 5 million drinks are expected to be given away in all, according to 7-Eleven. That's the most the company has ever given out on a single day.
