Free Coffee for National Coffee Day

Get your caffeine fix and celebrate with a free cup of coffee.

For those who don't brew their own coffee at home, shelling out money everyday to feed your caffeine need can get costly over time. Well, this weekend it's free as a few retailers are offering a free cup of Joe to celebrate National Coffee Day.

  • Participating 7-Eleven convenience stores will be offering free large 20-ounce coffees Friday, Sept. 28, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
    • 7-Eleven: 169 Atlantic Ave., Lynbrook
    • 7-Eleven: 310 Hempstead Ave., West Hempstead
    • 7-Eleven: 383 Hempstead Tpke., West Hempstead
    • 7-Eleven: 83 Franklin Ave., Valley Stream
  • McDonald's will be serving up free small coffees through Sept. 29.
    • McDonald's: 856 Hempstead Ave., West Hempstead
    • McDonald's: 380 Hempstead Tpke., West Hempstead
    • McDonald's: 121 Merrick Rd., Lynbrook

Fun fact: according to Punchbowl.com, 400 billion cups of coffee are consumed each year worldwide. That's a lotta java! Let us know where you got your free cup!
