For those who don't brew their own coffee at home, shelling out money everyday to feed your caffeine need can get costly over time. Well, this weekend it's free as a few retailers are offering a free cup of Joe to celebrate National Coffee Day.
- Participating 7-Eleven convenience stores will be offering free large 20-ounce coffees Friday, Sept. 28, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- 7-Eleven: 169 Atlantic Ave., Lynbrook
- 7-Eleven: 310 Hempstead Ave., West Hempstead
- 7-Eleven: 383 Hempstead Tpke., West Hempstead
- 7-Eleven: 83 Franklin Ave., Valley Stream
- McDonald's will be serving up free small coffees through Sept. 29.
