So you've been nominated by your friends or family to throw a Super Bowl party this Sunday. But there's no need to run around like a crazy person — local caterers are still taking orders for the big game, and many of them are offering some great deals.

Three-foot hero comes with potato and macaroni salads, cole slaw, a 4-pound tray of wings, two 2-liter sodas, and your choice of one of the following half-trays: ziti, penne a la vodka or sausage and peppers. Package comes to $109.99 plus tax.

The popular Atlantic Avenue deli and caterer has several deals available.

For $89, you get a three-foot hero with your choice of one of the following half-trays: chicken fingers, chicken wings, pigs in a blanket, mozzarella sticks or mini rice balls.

For $139, you can substitute a four-foot hero and a choice of two half-trays mentioned above.

Lastly, you get a six-foot hero with two half-trays of the aforementioned options and your choice of the following half-trays: baked ziti, pasta marinara, pasta bolognese or penne a la vodka. This deal is $199.

Order by Saturday afternoon at the latest.

You better bring an appetite if you plan to order from E&W's for Super Bowl Sunday.

For $139.95 plus tax, you get a three-foot hero with a tray of chili, a tray of buffalo wings, potato and macaroni salads and paper plates, napkins and plastic silverware.

The same package with a four-foot hero is $164.95 plus tax, a five-foot hero $189.95 plus tax, and a six-foot hero $214.95 plus tax. Ask about the 10 percent off deal for one of the above packages.


De Bono's definitely has the Super Bowl spirit, offering three football-themed deals.

The Extra Point: A three-foot hero with potato and macaroni salads, cole slaw, a pickle tray and paper goods for $79.95 plus tax.

The Field Goal: The same package mentioned above with a four-foot hero is $89.95 plus tax.

The Touchdown: A touchdown is six points, The Touchdown hero is six feet — with the aforementioned package, comes to $99.95 plus tax.


Another deli with Super Bowl themes, Park Avenue Delicatessen & Caterers is offering the following:

1st Quarter ($99.99): Three-foot hero (American, Italian, or grilled or breaded chicken) comes with five pounds of potato and macaroni salads and cole slaw, a pickle tray, and a half-tray of chicken wings with blue cheese dip.

2nd Quarter ($199.99): You get a tray of various gourmet wraps that include turkey, sliced marinated steak, grilled chicken, vegetarian; six pounds of Pennsylvania Dutch potato and macaroni salads and cole slaw; a three-pound tray of fresh melon salad, and a half-tray of buffalo wings with blue cheese dip.

Half Time ($199.99): A three-foot hero (half American, half Italian) with a half-tray each of spare ribs, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and six pounds of potato and macaroni salads and cole slaw.

3rd Quarter ($199.99): You get a three-foot hero (half marinated steak, half grilled chicken) and six pounds of potato and macaroni salads and cole slaw, a pickle tray, half a tray of eggplant rollatini and half a tray of stuffed shells.
