No. 82 — Check out Union Bagels

One of 100 things to do in the village

No. 82 in the Patch series, “,” is to check out .

Max and Anna are the proud owners , which has been a part of our Lynbrook village for almost five years. The shop is known for its “Old Fashioned Hand-Rolled Bagels and Home of the Stay-Soft Bagel.”

The store has made a name for itself in many different ways.  Ask a high school student or teacher where their favorite breakfast place is. Better yet, ask a Lynbrook resident where they can get the best bagels — they will probably tell you has the best.

Union Bagels is so good, the shop even gets orders to send bagels to colleges. The shop has also been a proud supporter/donator for many local events.

In the mornings, the bagel shop opens bright and early, so if you are coming home from a late shift or starting out early, it's ready ready to accommodate you.

With the high School and Kindergarten Center close by, and many people off to or returning from work, there are lines that prove Union Bagels is the place to stop. Of note, the shop offers student breakfast and lunch specials daily.

offers its delicious breakfast sandwiches all day long, so if you are like me and can go for an egg sandwich later in the day, you can still order one here.

The shop also has sandwiches with Boar’s Head meats, hot foods and drink smoothies, a summer favorite, in many delicious flavors.
